You are "craz" and "sill"!

Yes my friend, I have problem with words that finish with the letter y.

My friend send me another foolish message:

B: You are craz and sill.

I just replied:

J: Booly! You are crazy and silly.

Normally, in English we do not pronounce the last vowel in the words. This is a problem to many Brazilian learners because we pronounce the last vowel in all words in Portuguese. However, English always has exceptions, so words that end with ie or y (that sometimes is considered a vowel) we have to pronounce those sounds. Why didn't I pronounce the y or ie since I mispronounced all of the other last vowels? The answer is, I have no idea!!!

See how to pronounce ie and y sound here.
